NATIONAL CONFERENCE OF ARTISTS NEW YORK TO MEET
The National Conference of Artists New York, (NCAnewyork) will hold its annual conference and “Black Art History Makers Awards” February 8 – 10, 2008, to celebrate Black History Month and the 49^th anniversary of the founding of the national body, NCA. Celebrated as the oldest continuously operating and preeminent African American visual arts organization, NCA was founded by artist Dr. Margaret Goss Burroughs at Atlanta University in 1959 during what was then the annual Hale Woodruff Exhibition of Black Artists.  more
